If one beach isn't enough, there's also S'Arenal gran & S'Arenal petit, and a car journey away is Cala Sa Nau. As well as the sands, you'll also discover little coves strung out along the coastline.

Local buses will whisk you to the Sunday market in nearby Felanitx, and for something more lively and cultural, hop on a bus to the cosmopolitan capital. Set in the centre of the majestic Bay of Palma, Majorca's capital radiates charm, elegance and history. Gentle in personality, it boasts a captivating old quarter of narrow streets, together with countless chic shops, markets and boutiques and a superb restaurant-lined marina packed with sleek yachts, which is overlooked by its spectacular 13th century cathedral.

Other exciting highlights include trips to the Caves of Hams, or take a trip to the nearby Drach Caves, dripping with magical stalactites and stalagmites. There's even the chance to visit a small aquarium - the Aquarium de Mallorca.
