Introduction to Punta Prima
A traditional and friendly seaside resort, Punta Prima is the place for carefree days in the sun. On the south-eastern tip of Menorca, its large swathe of white sands is lapped by shallow aquamarine waters ideal for paddling, snorkelling and pedalo rides. Gentle breezes make it excellent for windsurfing and sailing, and on land, there are tennis courts, mini-golf and refreshing coastal and country walks to fill your time.
Along the sands, there's a good selection of shops, beach bars and eateries and the resort's popularity with locals lends it an authentic Menorcan feel. Evenings are easy-going with lots of intimate restaurants and bars to enjoy and a disco when you fancy upping the pace. Otherwise just chill on the beach, catch a bus to nearby Mahon or take the mini-train to neighbouring Binibeca.
