Just 1 km away bordering Puerto del Carmen is the resort of Playa de los Pocillos which has a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere. Its centre-piece is the large sandy beach which fronts the length of the resort and is host to an abundance of watersports. There are also shops, bars and restaurants in the centre to wander around. For a change of scenery a regular bus service runs to Puerto del Carmen, which is perfect for either days or nights out wandering around the old fishing harbour or partying in the bars and clubs.
