Resort Cape Point - hotel in Gambia

Cape Point is situated just west of Banjul city centre, and neighbours Bakau. This Friendly Gambian resort is ideal for a really relaxing break. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the beach is superb. The resort lies in a picturesque location where the mouth of the River Gambia meets the Atlantic Ocean, where you can simply sunbathe on the fantastic soft, white sands. Aside from the beach you will find some beach bars and cafes, along with a few restaurants and a small craft market. As the sun sets make sure you catch a glimpse out to sea, and across the river, or if you feel like experiencing some traditional Gambian culture take a trip into Bakau with its shanty-style shacks and interesting tin-roofed houses. Whilst in Bakau, check-out the attractions, including the colourful local market, the Botanical Gardens and the Kachikaly Crocodile Pool. If you feel like exploring slightly further afield, the resort of Fajara lies further south - among the attractions lies an 18-hole golf course, with 'browns' instead of 'greens'!
