Kamari beach is the main beach resort on Santorini. The long stretch of beach is made up of black sand, which although very picturesque, can get very hot in the sun! A street facing the beach offers a wonderful choice of restaurants, bars and shops. During the summer this is closed to traffic, so it's perfect for a slow wander along if you need a break from the sun!
