A tranquil country retreat, the newly built Tia Catalina is enveloped in peace and quiet near Alcudia, making it a relaxing yet convenient base. On a gentle hill tucked away from main roads, it is fringed by almond trees and from its lovely rear garden, commands stunning open views over fields and distant mountains.

Along with an enchanting covered terrace running right around the house, which is furnished with a wooden dining suite, the rear lawns and pool provide perfect vantage points for soaking up the uninterrupted country vistas and Majorcan sunshine. Although there are no terraces around the pool, the lawns provide an excellent playground for children and plentiful space for sunloungers, and are edged by well-tended flowerbeds and shrubs. An outdoor barbecue is supplied for al-fresco cooking and there is a small stand-up shower next to the pool ideal for simple wash-downs after swimming.

Inside, the villa is bright, well-kept and furnished to a good standard. The compact sitting-dining room is tastefully decorated and the kitchen has a dishwasher and separate utility room.
