Perched on the hillside overlooking Puerto Rico, Altamar Apartments have the kind of to-die-for views that will make you go weak at the knees. One look at the sparkling turquoise sea below you and you'll be in no doubt that you've arrived in holiday heaven. The bird's eye setting does mean steps to the beach, though. If you don't fancy the walk there are plenty of taxis waiting to take you to there for a small fee - expect to pay between two and three euros. A little closer to home is the fantastic pool area and there's plenty of room to find yourself a sunny spot by the water. Inside, the apartments are comfortable, and every one has its own balcony or terrace featuring more of that fabulous seaview. In a hillside position, with fantastic views over the resort and ocean, this is a friendly and value-for-money complex, great if you're after a relaxing holiday, where you can chill by the pool or sip drinks at the bar. The Europa shopping centre, bars, restaurants and nightlife can be found a short 200 metres away.
