Surrounded by farmland and reached via an unmade track, the villa is fronted by vibrant flowerbeds and rustic inside, with sunny and spacious rooms and pristine tiled floors complemented by traditional wooden furnishings and fittings. The cheerful, white kitchen has everything needed for a relaxed stay and the airy and comfortable sitting-dining room features an open fireplace and large patio doors leading to the spacious rear terrace, which is covered for shade and overlooks the west-facing pool. Additional terraced areas, lawns and a pathway frame the house and there is also an attractive barbecue area for preparing al-fresco meals. The bedrooms are traditional in style and the main double benefits from doors to a pretty garden area.

When you fancy heading out to explore, Paderne makes a charming stopping point and boasts a minimarket, shops and restaurants, together with a traditional natural spring well. Albufeira, with its golden beaches and bustling shops and eateries, is also just 12 kilometres away for those when you want to up the tempo.
