This imposing, large villa lies in the Marbesa residential area of Marbella and promises a great retreat for families and groups wanting to be within walking distance of the sea. A 400-metre stroll brings you to sandy beach where you'll find numerous bars and the resort of Calahonda is a short drive away.

Set in enclosed and quiet gardens complete with a cute built-in bar area, it will be hard to drag yourself from the pool terrace, which offers the perfect seat for the sweeping scenery. The grounds of Ignatius are prettily simple, with cool lawns, a tiled dining terrace and an enticing pool, all framed by shrubs and mature trees that create a relaxing mood of seclusion. Combining the views with cooling dips and alfresco meals on the shaded terrace has to be one of the best ways to spend days here, although you might also feel inclined to make trips to nearby port of Cabopino to enjoy its cheerful restaurants or to livelier Nerja eight kilometres away. Peaceful and cool, the pool has the added bonus of being completely surrounded by a fence - perfect if you're traveling with the little ones.

Inside, you will find the accommodation arranged over three levels. The real heart of the interior lies within the large and comfortable all encompassing kitchen-living-dining room. Set with rustic-style ornaments and paintings, cushioned sofas and a charming fireplace make the room especially inviting, whilst large floor to ceiling walls allow lots of natural light to flood into the room to create a beautiful social spot and seating area. The living space includes a dining area, together with an ample, fully-fitted kitchen done out in farmhouse style. On this floor is a twin bedroom and a second seating area ideal for some quiet reading and relaxing. The top floor is composed of two bedrooms - the master double with ensuite, complemented by stunning views of the Med - and a further twin bedroom and separate bathroom, whilst the lower storey comprises of a forth twin bedroom, separate wc and yet another, comfortable sitting room.

The feeling of space impresses you from the moment you arrive and the well-proportioned rooms make the Ignatius great for families with teenagers or two families or groups.
