Introduction to Javea
Once a small fishing port, it is now growing into a modern resort, yet is still rich in charming character. Lemon and orange trees add colour to the centre and there is a pretty pebbly harbour beach as well as a fine sandy bay with watersports and restaurants to pass your time in. Javea makes an ideal touring base, and nearby Calpe, another beautiful village with a gigantic rock looming over a bay, is also within easy reach and well worth a visit.
